Lacey began her career in the commercial sheet metal industry, where she spent 15 years working in inside sales and estimation. This experience greatly improved her communication skills and customer-focused approach. By utilizing effective and honest communication strategies, she consistently surpassed sales targets and met deadlines by developing strong relationships with clients. After taking a break to start a family, Lacey worked for the City of Enumclaw at their Expo Center for 7 years. During this time, she successfully organized multiple large-scale events such as the King County Fair and the Wine & Chocolate Festival. Alongside event management expertise, Lacey also possesses extensive knowledge in maintenance operations as she efficiently oversaw the maintenance of various facilities within 72 acres of land. She implemented preventive maintenance strategies that reduced downtime and effectively managed maintenance and staff schedules. Moreover, she has a keen eye for identifying areas that require improvement and enjoys implementing effective solutions. Currently, Lacey is employed by the City of Renton for her 6th year at their Farmers Market where she helps coordinate logistical operations to ensure smooth functionality. Her excellent organizational skills are evident in tasks ranging from setting up stalls to managing the Food Nutrition Programs, which contribute to efficient operations. In addition to her professional achievements, Lacey has actively served on various committees within Building Beyond the Walls, including secretary on the board as well as chairing the construction committee. Currently involved with the fundraising committee, she helps organize and manage the annual fundraising auction. Outside of work commitments, Lacey finds immense joy in parenthood alongside her husband Kirk as they proudly raise twins together. They create lasting memories through camping trips using their trailer while cherishing moments spent gathering with friends and family or exploring new places and different events every weekend.
